It's Prom Time...

Last night was the night that High School Jrs & Srs look forward to all year, most of the girls have been searching for the perfect dress and shoes for months and the guys... well they know that this night, is a sign that school will be out in few short weeks.
Last night really brought back alot of old memories of my Sr prom, as I'm sure it did for alot of the other parents.
My neice Brittney was absolutely beautiful...and her boyfriend Shan cleaned up real nice too... This was Britt's Sr prom... and I would like to thank her for allowing me to be apart of this special time; and for all the other times that she has included me, throughout her HS days. These memories will be treasured forever.

I Feel the Need for Speed

My nephew Payne finished 2nd in Saturday nights feature race, held at Crossroads Motorplex. Don't think we'll be able to race this weekend, since the water will most likely have all the roads that lead to the track closed.

Roadside Park Madison County

Roadside park has been engulfed by the rising waters of the Suwannee River. I guess if your in to waterfront dining this would be the ideal spot.

Suwannee River

This photo was taken today on the old bridge at the Madison/Suwannee County Line. The kids are really excited about all the water. This area is expected to be completely under water by Thursday

Hwy 150 at Belleville Bridge

This photo was taken yesterday; We were unable to get to this location today since the roads are now completely covered in water.
